He just broke my water!!!!!!

Ok...I had an EXCELLENT nights sleep PRAISE GOD. I needed it so very bad. The nurse came in this morning while I was sleeping and took the Cervadil out and put the IV back in my hand of Pitocin, at 6am. Contractions started at around 8am, the Dr came in at 8:50 checked me I was at 1cm, he put on a glove with a point on the end, stuck it as farrrrrrrr as he could and there she blew. I definalety some Polyhydramnios brewing in there (excess amniotic fluid). I cried my eyes out, I am not ready for this. I cried like a little girl. Contractions are hurting much worse now and I have to start making the phone calls ok....change of plans...Enrique is making phone calls and I am passing out...they just gave me Stadol and I am seeing three screenssssss. Will check in later..love you all and thank you for checking in on us and keeping your prayers with us.

    Shelley, you are an inspiration of strength. You are wholly in my heart and I hope that by the higher power that guides us, Elisha is given the opportunity to meet you and Enrique. You both deserve that graceful moment. Elisha is strong to have hung out in there till today like you have predicted! Mom knows best.
    I have followed your experience on the January board, albeit I'm due in March. You are truly a pillar of strength. May you find peace within during such tumultuous times emotionally. Bless you, your husband and ALL of your family.

    Shelley you are doing awesome, hang in there and stay strong!! (((HUGS))) We all love you so much and I'm praying for you & thinking of you constantly!!! I know what you are going through is so difficult, just remember that it's OK to cry, it's OK to be scared, just let yourself live every moment of this experience to the fullest and trust in God that everything will happen according to His will.

    I know this day is difficult and I pray that you have some wonderful moments to share! I have put out prayer requests to my network across several states. All of us pray for a miracle, and at the very least a moment to look down on your angel and feel his love for you as he can feel yours. God be with you today and always as you move through this experience. May you find peace and love under the sadness you must be feeling. You have a large circle of love around you!!!     Thinking of you and praying all goes well. I hope you dialate quicker now soyou can have your epidual. I am sorry tht the contractions hurt worse now, I had mine broken with my son, so I know what you mean. Hang in there and know you are being prayed for.I can't imagine your emotions at this point, but I do hope you are most full of joy to get to mee Elisha, even if his stay is short.

    i'm so very glad you got some sleep last night because i'm sure you needed it!! i pray that you will get to see your little elisha soon and that you and enrique get to spend some quality time with him!! keep us posted.
